Jib Crane, Pull-Cord KITO Electric Hoist

Not every station needs continuous lifting. Some spots only need a few dozen lifts a day, so investing in a large crane there is overkill, yet leaving workers to carry loads by hand is still heavy and risks bumping finished parts.

FullSharp installs a jib crane fitted with a pull-cord KITO electric hoist. A compact standing column with a swing arm rotating around it lets the worker pull a cord to lift or lower the load, then push the trolley by hand along the arm to the exact spot needed.

Equipment Installed

Pull-cord KITO hoist: controlled by a pull cord, with a load-holding brake, simple and rarely needing minor repairs.
Swing column: the column base is bolted to the floor, with a swing arm rotating around it to cover the whole work area.
Hand-pushed trolley: pushed lightly along the arm to bring the hook to the exact pick-up or drop-off point.
Hook with safety latch: keeps the cable or sling from slipping out of the hook throat while lowering the load.
Powder-coated steel structure: rated for the design load, with a surface that holds up well in a mechanical shop environment.
