Sacks of rice, sugar, flour, cement and plastic pellets weigh 25 to 50kg and are stacked onto pallets or emptied into mixers hundreds of times per shift. It is the heaviest job in the plant, hard to staff and a common cause of back injuries.
FullSharp supplies sack lifting equipment with vacuum tube lifters, bag grippers or hook tools mounted on overhead rails, jib cranes or air balancers. One operator can lift a sack from the pallet, feed it into a machine hopper or load it onto a truck. Versions for cleanrooms and food plants are available.
Pick and release take a few seconds, and stacking output does not drop at the end of the shift as it does with manual handling.
Operators do not need special strength, which solves the difficulty of hiring manual loaders.
Suction pads and jaws spread the force evenly, so sacks do not tear and material is not spilled.
Yes for most coated PP sacks. Uncoated woven sacks and mesh bags use a gripper that holds both ends of the sack. FullSharp tests with sample sacks before choosing the tool.
A vacuum tube lifter or air balancer lifts sacks up to 2m and the operator tilts the sack to empty it. A rotating tool can be added if the sack must be fully emptied.
About 200 to 300 sacks per hour depending on travel distance, two to three times manual handling, with no need for breaks.
Every plant differs in load, part size, handling frequency and working space. FullSharp carries out a site survey, recommends suitable equipment, load-tests it before handover and trains your operators. The equipment is built at the FullSharp factory in Taiwan, with spare parts and warranty service available in Vietnam.
