Wall-Mounted Jib Crane with Electric Hoist

The customer's machining station sits against a wall, and the floor is already packed with machines and carts, leaving no room for a jib crane column. The workpiece is also heavy enough to require two people to lift onto the machine table. Every setup meant the whole team had to stop working.

FullSharp installed a wall-mounted jib crane with an electric hoist, using the wall and column structure itself as the load-bearing point. The arm sweeps exactly across the station's work area, and the hoist lifts with a brake and overload protection. The floor stays clear, and carts continue to move as usual.

Equipment Installed

Wall mounting base: a steel bracket bolted to the wall or concrete column, spreading the load evenly across the existing structure.
Slewing arm: a steel beam rotating around the base pivot, covering a fan-shaped work area around the station with a simple push to turn.
Electric hoist: stable lifting speed with a load-holding brake and overload protection, controlled by a pendant.
Trolley running along the arm: moves the hook point in and out to match reach, placing the load exactly on the machine table.
End stops: limit trolley travel to prevent collision with the pivot and arm tip.
