Many plants need to lift loads at several spots spread along one route rather than concentrated in a single place. A standalone jib crane only reaches within its arm's radius. Installing a separate unit at every spot is costly and takes up space.

FullSharp combines a jib crane with a rail track: the rotating column travels along the rail, so its coverage extends along the whole route. An electric hoist hangs from the arm, lifting at the push of a button while the operator stands next to the load and controls it directly.

Rail-Mounted Jib Crane with Electric Hoist for Plants

A jib crane running on a rail track, carrying an electric hoist in the production area.

Equipment Installed

  • Jib crane: the arm rotates around the column, covering a circular work area around the standing position.
  • Rail track: runs the length of the plant, letting the column and arm travel to each spot that needs lifting.
  • Electric hoist: an electric motor lifts and lowers at the push of a button, at a steady speed with a brake that holds the load when stopped.
  • Handheld pendant control: clearly marked up/down buttons, with the cable at a comfortable height for the operator.

Benefits for the Plant

Covers a long route

The column travels on the rail, so multiple spots share a single piece of equipment.

Push-button lifting

The electric hoist does the heavy work, so the operator never has to pull a hand chain.

Compact installation

Minimal construction work, mainly erecting the column and hanging the rail, so the plant barely has to stop.
