On the assembly line, parts are both heavy and need to be placed within a few millimeters. Push-button lifting is jerky, forcing workers to make several attempts before the part lines up.

FullSharp installed a pneumatic jib crane with a force-sensing handle. The sensor reads the force from the operator's hand and supplies air accordingly, so the heavy part feels almost weightless and follows exactly the direction the hand pushes.

Pneumatic Jib Crane with Force-Sensing Handle

A pneumatic jib crane with a force-sensing handle installed at a plant workstation.

Equipment Installed

  • Rotating column: anchored to the floor with expansion bolts, rotating 360 degrees around the workstation.
  • Arm and trolley: runs along the beam to change the reach and keeps the load steady while rotating.
  • Force-sensing handle: reads hand force and regulates air in real time, so the load moves up and down smoothly without jerking.
  • Pneumatic valve assembly: filters and regulates incoming air, holding the load steady when the operator lets go.

Key Specifications

  • Rotation angle360 degrees

Benefits for Your Plant

Precise part placement

The load follows the hand, so aligning it into holes or slots is very fast.

Effortless operation

The operator only needs a few kilograms of force to steer the entire heavy load.

Fewer impacts

No jerking means less damage to parts and fixtures.

Consultation for Your Plant

FullSharp reviews the part to be lifted, the travel distance, and the compressed air available in your plant. From there we select the right column size, reach, and tool head, install the crane, and tune the force sensitivity to your operator's actual hand.
