Mobile Pneumatic Jib Crane, Box Leveling Hook

A box lifted from a single hook tends to tilt, letting the contents shift and knocking the box against shelving. Tying extra straps for balance takes time on every lift. The loading area also changes with each shift, so fixed equipment doesn't fit.

FullSharp installed a pneumatic jib crane on a mobile base with a self-leveling box hook. The hook set keeps the box level the moment it's lifted, compressed air balances the load, and the operator only needs to guide the direction. When the job is done, the whole unit rolls to another area.

Equipment Installed

Self-leveling box hook: a hook set that distributes suspension points evenly, keeping the box level so contents don't shift.
Pneumatic rotating arm: the arm follows the operator's hand, stopping in place the instant it's released.
Mobile base: a steel base with wheels and outriggers, rolled to the work area without drilling into the floor.
Air supply unit: removes moisture and regulates pressure, keeping lift force steady all shift.
