Mobile Pneumatic Jib Crane for Silicon Blocks

Silicon blocks are heavy, their surfaces are valuable, and they cannot tolerate impact — a single hard knock can ruin the whole block. Carrying them by hand or with rope slings gives no control over force, so the risk of damage is high.

FullSharp installs a pneumatic jib crane on a mobile base, with the pneumatic hoist allowing slow, precise lowering. A vacuum pad dedicated to silicon blocks grips the flat face of the block, lifting it without pressing on the edges.

Installed Equipment

Pneumatic jib crane: the arm rotates around the column, the pneumatic hoist lifts and lowers smoothly, holding the load when the control is released.
Mobile base: counterweighted base with wheels and locking pins, pushed by hand to a new position when needed.
Silicon block vacuum pad: suction cups arranged to match the block face, spreading grip force evenly to avoid local pressure points.
Vacuum gauge: monitors grip throughout the lift and warns when pressure drops.
