Mobile-Base Jib Crane Lifts Carton Boxes

Warehouses change their loading positions constantly from batch to batch, so installing a fixed crane in one spot only gets in the way the next day. Workers still had to carry carton boxes by hand wherever the delivery truck stopped.

FullSharp installed a jib crane on a mobile base, carrying a 200 kg aluminum rail and a vacuum lifter for carton boxes. Wherever it's needed, the whole unit is pushed into place, and lowering the support legs makes it ready to work.

Equipment Installed

Mobile base: a steel base with wheels and support legs; pushed into a new position and locked, it stands firm.
200 kg aluminum rail: a lightweight aluminum rail with a plastic-wheeled trolley that glides smoothly, so pushing loads takes almost no effort.
Vacuum lifter for carton boxes: the pad grips the sealed lid of the box, letting one hand lift the whole box.
Vacuum pump unit: mounted directly on the base, moving with the whole unit so there's no long hose to drag when relocating.
