Carton boxes are the most common packaging in any factory. Finished-goods cartons weigh 10 to 60kg, are bulky and hard to hold, and must be stacked onto tall pallets, into containers or onto multi-level racks. Forklifts cannot reach these positions, and manual handling is slow and causes injuries.

FullSharp supplies carton lifting equipment with vacuum tube lifters or mechanical grippers, mounted on articulating jib cranes or overhead rails. One operator can pick a carton from the conveyor and stack it on a 2m pallet, load it into a container or place it on a rack without bending or overreaching.

Carton handling equipment in operation

FullSharp equipment for lifting carton boxes

  • FullSharp vacuum tube lifters: hold the top of the carton, lift 10 to 60kg at 5 to 8 cartons per minute, with suction tools for long and oversized cartons. See FullSharp vacuum tube lifters.
  • ANVER and Lifts All equipment: imported vacuum lifters with light touch-sensitive handles, suited to high-speed packing lines. See ANVER and Lifts All Basic.
  • Double carton gripper: mechanical gripper for open-top cartons or for stacking two cartons at a time. See manipulators.
  • Articulating jib crane and overhead rail: overhead structure for the vacuum lifter, pivoting on two joints to cover pallets and conveyors. See pneumatic cranes on overhead rails and overhead rail systems.

Benefits of carton handling equipment

Stack high without ladders

Vacuum tube lifters raise cartons to 2m, so pallets are built to full height and container height is fully used.

No dented or torn cartons

Suction pads spread the force evenly over the carton lid, with no hooks or straps.

Fewer loading staff

One operator replaces two to three manual loaders and keeps a steady pace through the whole shift.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can cartons with gaps or loosely taped lids be lifted?

Yes. The suction pad covers the lid edges and a high-flow vacuum pump compensates for air leakage. Fully open cartons use a gripper.

Can cartons be loaded into a 40 foot container?

Yes, with an overhead rail extending into the container or an electric stacker with a carton clamp. FullSharp surveys the shipping area to choose the solution.

Can one unit handle multiple carton sizes?

The standard suction pad handles cartons from 250mm to 600mm. Long and oversized cartons use dedicated quick-change suction tools.

Carton box handling consultation

Every plant differs in load, part size, handling frequency and working space. FullSharp carries out a site survey, recommends suitable equipment, load-tests it before handover and trains your operators. The equipment is built at the FullSharp factory in Taiwan, with spare parts and warranty service available in Vietnam.
