The customer needed a lifting system for a work area, but the roof was not strong enough to support a hanging rail. Loads had to move both across and along the station, and carrying them by hand was slow and unsafe. The station's location could also change when the line was rearranged.
FullSharp built a column frame carrying a 200 kg aluminum rail, with the full load transferred down through the column bases, so it does not depend on the roof structure. The precision-machined aluminum rail lets the trolley glide smoothly, so a light pull moves the load. The frame, beam, rail and components were all made by FullSharp as a matched set, so they fit together and are easy to replace.
