Goods must travel along a fixed route between stations, but building a steel-beam jib crane is heavy and requires substantial structural work. Pushing a hand cart back and forth takes time and always occupies the walkway.

FullSharp installed a ceiling-mounted aluminum rail running exactly along the work route, carrying an electric hoist on a trolley. The lightweight aluminum rail places little load on the ceiling structure, and goods are pulled along the route with very light push force.

Equipment Installed

  • Aluminum rail: extruded aluminum profile with a smooth running surface, extended along the route with dedicated joints.
  • Rail trolley: plastic or steel wheels rolling inside the rail, running smoothly and quietly.
  • Threaded ceiling hangers: hang the rail from roof trusses or a concrete slab, with hanger spacing calculated for the load.
  • Electric hoist: raises and lowers by push-button, travelling along the rail over the arranged route.
