Goods must travel along a fixed route between stations, but building a steel-beam jib crane is heavy and requires substantial structural work. Pushing a hand cart back and forth takes time and always occupies the walkway.
FullSharp installed a ceiling-mounted aluminum rail running exactly along the work route, carrying an electric hoist on a trolley. The lightweight aluminum rail places little load on the ceiling structure, and goods are pulled along the route with very light push force.
