Carton boxes often hold fragile goods, and every bump or hard grip can damage what's inside. Lifting by hand is slow, while mechanical clamps often leave dents on the box surface.

FullSharp chose a vacuum lifting pad with evenly distributed suction to grip the box surface without squeezing the sides. The whole assembly hangs on an articulating jib crane with a horizontal pneumatic hoist, lifting smoothly and turning to the drop point with one hand.

Equipment installed

  • Vacuum lifting pad: suction cups spread evenly across the box lid, distributing suction so the cardboard is not marked.
  • Horizontal pneumatic hoist: mounted flat on the arm, keeps the load balanced, slowing down as it nears the pallet.
  • Articulating arm: folds and rotates flexibly, picking up loads from many directions within the work area.
  • Air valve and vacuum generator: runs on the plant's existing compressed air, with a check valve to hold the box if pressure drops.
