What Is Bal-Trol®?
Almost every Lifts All lifting device is powered by a Bal-Trol. It is a pneumatic (compressed-air-driven) hoist used to balance or lift a load. It runs quietly and smoothly and is typically used in place of a chain hoist or manual lifting. Combined with a lifting device (gripper) and an overhead rail or crane, Bal-Trol becomes a complete lifting system.

Safety & Quiet Operation

Notably, Bal-Trol has been ATEX certified to confirm it has no internal ignition source — meaning it is safe to use in explosive atmospheres of any zone, without risk. This is a major advantage for chemical, paint, solvent plants and other sensitive environments.

9 Configurations for Every Load Range
Full-Scale Bal-Trol — our largest pneumatic hoist — comes in up to 9 different configurations. These configurations differ in maximum load limit, increasing in tiers starting from 25 kg and up to 600 kg. The Full-Scale Bal-Trol's cylinder length matches its lifting height exactly, though the lifting height can be customized within a range of 0.3 – 3 m.

Balancing — Fast & Weightless
Balancing is the unbeatable choice when you need fast, "weightless" lifting of multiple objects of the same weight — for example, from an assembly line in the automotive industry. "Weightless" lifting means the user can raise and lower the object using only their hands, without pressing any button on the lifting device. This offers maximum flexibility and precision: simply press the green button to grip the object and the two red buttons to release it.

Slim Line Sensi-Touch
For loads of varying weight
Used when the loads to be lifted are not the same weight. The user simply pulls the handle up or down to raise or lower the load.

Proportional Speed-Handle
Speed control by grip pressure
Raise/lower controlled by two levers. Speed is proportional to grip pressure — a light squeeze moves the load slowly — used for loads with varying weight.

Equalizer — Digital Balancing
Digital balancing — millimeter precision
An electro-pneumatic control system that continuously monitors cylinder pressure (50–200 times per second), enabling millimeter-precise lifting. Fits any lifting device, for any load regardless of weight.
Precision & Flexibility
For added precision, built-in flexibility in Bal-Trol lets the user manually raise and lower the load by ±5 cm. The Equalizer is a load-balancing control unit with digital precision — the perfect aid for lifting in tight spaces with millimeter accuracy. It can be fitted to all our lifting devices and used for any load, regardless of weight.
