Carton boxes come off the end of the line continuously, and workers have to bend, lift, and turn to place them on pallets hundreds of times per shift. This repetitive motion strains the back, and boxes are often dropped too hard, crushing the corners.
FullSharp suspended a 200 kg aluminum rail from the plant's overhead beam and fitted a pneumatic jib crane with a vacuum tool for carton boxes. The trolley runs along the rail — the operator presses the suction head onto the box lid, lifts it, gently pushes it along the rail to the pallet, then releases the vacuum.

Boxes are lifted by air power while the worker only pushes sideways. Back strain at the end of a shift drops noticeably.
