The Speedy Picker is an ergonomic, high-efficiency lifting solution for warehouses and distribution centers. It combines a crane arm with a lifting tool powered by a compressor, all mounted on the forklift the operator drives throughout the shift, so the lifting aid is always within reach. Because loads are no longer lifted by hand, the risk of lifting injuries drops sharply and the work becomes faster, easier and safer.

Order picking is repetitive, fast-paced work. Awkward positions and poor posture are major causes of wear-and-tear injuries and fatigue, which in turn reduce productivity. The Speedy Picker handles up to 120 lifts per hour, keeping operations productive while cutting injuries and improving ergonomics. The lifting tool is always ready to go.

The unit stays stable even with the crane arm extended, so there is no need to deploy support legs. Work continues without time-consuming stops.

Customized lifting tools

The Speedy Picker can carry a purpose-built tool for sacks, cans, boxes and more. The arm accepts vacuum, mechanical and magnetic lifting aids, including tools for gripping at awkward angles, so the application possibilities are practically unlimited.

Multi-gripper

Where a warehouse handles many different materials, a multi-gripper with a twist-and-lock system lets the operator swap quickly between vacuum heads and even a hook. One machine can then lift a wide variety of items in different ways.

Standard lifting tools

The standard box gripper activates automatically when it is placed firmly on a box, and the operator can then lift and guide the box with minimal effort. The handle suits both left- and right-handed users and has a single button, used to release the load once it is set down. A unique tilt function lets the operator pick from the top or the side, making it easy to reach the top of a high stack or to work in tight, low spaces.

A flexible forklift crane arm

The compact, agile arm sits in the center of the truck, allowing quick picks from both sides and from behind. Its low build suits the limited headroom typical of warehouse aisles. When the job is done, the operator places the lifting tool in one of the docking stations, folds the arm into parking mode and drives safely to the next location.

Different mounting options

The Speedy Picker is available as a permanent installation or as a self-contained Add-On unit, with crane, compressor and lifting tools, that attaches to an existing forklift. The Add-On can be moved between trucks and switched off whenever the forklift is needed for other tasks.

Thanks to the different mounting methods, the crane suits virtually all articulated trucks. The best installation for each specific forklift is worked out together with the customer and the forklift manufacturer.

The Speedy Picker is a cost-effective choice that can handle multi-shift operation.

Powered by the truck's own battery, so the operator has no separate charging to manage.
Draws energy only during the lift itself (about 3–5 seconds), making it durable and energy efficient.
Available in three power ratings: 1.3, 2.6 or 3.9 kW.
Weighs only 300 kg, leaving more payload before the truck's maximum load is reached.

Preventing wear-and-tear injuries

A warehouse worker may lift around 120 packages an hour, which can add up to 15–16 tonnes over an eight-hour shift (source: Handelsnytt). Under the regulations of the Swedish Work Environment Authority (Arbetsmiljöverket), employers must organize work so that the risk of strain disorders is reduced or avoided, which can include the use of technical aids. With the Speedy Picker carrying the load, pickers keep their speed and precision without wearing out their bodies.
