Product overview

This gripper lifts car gearboxes from a roller conveyor and positions them for mounting in the vehicle. It holds the gearbox securely and removes any need for manual lifting.

Using the balancing technique, the gripper cancels out the weight of both the tool and the gearbox, so the gearbox is handled in a weightless state. There are no up/down levers to think about; the operator guides the gearbox directly by hand for maximum precision.
