This drum gripper with Equalizer is an exceptionally steady tool, well suited to precision work. Without an Equalizer, a lifting tool can drift upwards as a vessel empties; this one stays put even as the drum gets lighter. Here it is used to pour plastic granulate from one drum into another, but it works for any load that has to be handled precisely.

The Equalizer is a control function built for precision. Emptying drums, placing packages into cabinets or setting fragile items into packaging can all be done with great accuracy. It can be added to almost any Lifts All lifting tool.

Weightless drum handling

The gripper runs on a Bal-Trol pneumatic cylinder (Made in USA) that makes the load feel weightless. Instead of carrying heavy drums, the operator lets the tool take the weight. The result is a comfortable, ergonomic workplace where people stay healthy and content over the long term. Carrying 60 kg by hand once is rarely a problem, but repeating it can lead to wear-and-tear injuries with lasting effects.
