Product overview

The Lifts All combi-gripper for ventilators lifts mechanical ventilators during manufacturing. In hospitals a ventilator moves air in and out of the lungs of patients who cannot breathe properly on their own. The equipment is valuable and sensitive, so it must be protected from knocks in the factory where it is built. Ventilators are also fairly heavy and awkward to move. With this combi-gripper they can be moved quickly and weightlessly while staying well protected.

A lifting tool for packing ventilators

The combi-gripper is used when packing the ventilators. By switching between vacuum and mechanical mode, one tool handles every step of the packing process:

In mechanical mode the tool grips the ventilator handle and lifts the unit into a protective foam case.
The case is closed and turned from horizontal to vertical using the vacuum cups.
The case is lowered into a cardboard box, which is then sealed.
Using the vacuum cups, the box is lifted onto a pallet, for example, for onward distribution.

Two lifting tools in one

With a traditional combi-gripper you often have to detach parts to switch between vacuum and mechanical gripping. A single unit for every task is both convenient and time-saving: one flick of a switch changes the mode. The mechanical setting lifts handles and loops, while the vacuum setting lifts any airtight material.
