Product overview

The cogwheel gripper is a favourite in the automotive industry. This compact tool lifts cogwheels of up to 14 kg and is used mainly in car manufacturing. The operator grips the inner bore of the gear, moves it quickly through the steps at the workstation and then mounts it in the gearbox.

A tilt switch turns the cogwheel through 90° for placement in the gearbox, and the gear can also be rotated by hand for maximum precision.

The gripper uses Balancing control – a mechanical way of achieving weightlessness. No buttons are needed to raise or lower the load: simply guide it by hand and you will not feel its weight.
