The warehouse handles many different kinds of goods — sometimes soft bags, sometimes round columns. Carrying them by hand is heavy and prone to slipping, and every time the type of goods changes, the carrying method has to change too. The layout also shifts with each shipment, so installing fixed equipment in one spot doesn't fit.
FullSharp installs a pneumatic jib crane on a mobile base, which can be wheeled wherever work is needed without drilling into the floor. The end tool is a multi-purpose bag clamp with an adjustable opening, so it grips both bags and cylindrical items. The operator just holds the handle — the heavy part is carried by compressed air.
Mobile base pneumatic jib crane with a bag clamp tool, working in the plant's staging area.
Just adjust the jaw opening to switch from bags to columns — no need to buy extra equipment.
The wheeled base can be pulled to a different position when the layout changes.
Compressed air holds the load, so workers don't strain their backs lifting repeatedly all shift.
FullSharp surveys the bag types and the diameter of items to be clamped, measures ceiling height and aisle width to choose the right reach. We then finalize the clamp jaw opening, the air pressure supplied to the system, and the base position. Contact FullSharp to schedule a plant survey.
