Product overview

This mechanical gripper is designed for car seats. The operator picks a seat from a cart and places it on a rack or conveyor with minimal effort, and can tilt it to a horizontal or vertical position along the way. Maximum capacity is 45 kg.

Car seat gripper for the automotive industry

The gripper holds the seat from above and below: two padded metal "hands" close around the headrest and the seat base. The Green Eye pressure indicator lights up to confirm a secure grip; if it does not light, the tool will not lift. Lifting is controlled with the up and down levers on the Pro-Speed Handle (PSH), and speed follows how firmly the levers are pressed. Once the seat is lowered into place, the red button on the left handlebar releases it.

The gripper handles both single and double seats. When alternating between the two, the black button on the right handlebar switches the gripper from one seat type to the other.
