Product overview

This shaft gripper is a mechanical gripper that moves loads effortlessly from point A to point B by clamping them from both sides. The load is not especially heavy, yet lifting up to 5 kg many times a day is physically demanding. The same gripper handles both narrower and slightly wider shafts. Maximum capacity is 5 kg.

How does it work?

Position the gripper so that it can close around the curved sides of the shaft. The lower part of the tool – the claws – can be rotated to the best, most ergonomic pick-up position by pulling up the black pin on the rotation plate above the claws. Press the green button to close the claws on the load, move the shaft to its destination and press the red button to release it.

Custom-built lifting solutions

This gripper was designed and manufactured to the customer's specification. Lifts All tailors each tool to the load and the working environment, and as with all its grippers, capacity, tilt, rotation and other functions can be added as required. You can even choose the colour: tools are usually painted red, but this customer asked for yellow.
