Product overview

This custom gripper was built for one specific metal part and can pick several of them in a single lift. It moves the parts from a table down into pallet collars with ease. Each part weighs about 2 kg and up to five parts can be lifted at a time. The job gets done faster, the operator no longer repeats the same manual lift, and the back and shoulders are spared. Automatic start and balancing give a safe, smooth lift, and the handles can be tilted sideways, making it easier to move the load laterally and to work in tight spaces.

A mechanical gripper for metal

Two blocks close in from the sides to clamp the metal parts. Once they are securely held, the operator simply guides the load to its destination, for example into a pallet collar, tilting the handles sideways during the lift if required. The gripper keeps the load balanced smoothly and safely all the way. A load guard adds extra security by preventing the parts from being dropped mid-lift, and the tool will only lift when it has a firm grip on the load. Maximum capacity is 11 kg.

A customised lifting solution

Every tool is designed around the customer's needs and working environment. If you handle similar loads in different sizes or materials, the gripper can be adapted accordingly, and the maximum capacity can be adjusted too. Red is the standard colour for Lifts All tools, but other colours are available; in this case the customer chose blue.
