A versatile lifting tool for batteries

This combi-gripper was customised to lift batteries of different sizes, up to 64 kg. Its key advantage is that the application can be changed to match the battery type; each application is designed for specific models and swapping takes only a few seconds. One application is mechanical and clamps the battery, the other is vacuum-based and attaches to the side of the battery. A green indicator on the gripper shows that the battery is firmly held and can be lifted safely. The combi-gripper suits workplaces where lifting is not continuous or where space is limited.
