Product overview

This gripper was designed for meat processors to lift rolls of sausage casing. The mechanical tool moves the load safely and smoothly and can tilt it 90° during the lift, so the operator can take a roll standing upright on a pallet and place it horizontally on the machine. Maximum capacity is 50 kg. A self-balancing handlebar makes the tool ergonomically easy to use and keeps the tool itself in balance, so it does not sag when the handle is moved up or down.

Sausage casing gripper with expander

The gripper expands inside the roll core to hold the load. Once gripped, the roll is moved along the overhead rail system to wherever it is needed, and it can be tilted during the lift depending on whether it should be set down vertically or horizontally. When the roll is in position, pressing the release button on the gripper disengages it from the load.
