How much weight can a magnetic gripper handle?

Standard models handle up to 135 kg, which covers many industrial applications. Capacity is affected by the surface, thickness and composition of the material, with flat surfaces generally giving the best grip. For maximum safety, choose a lifter whose capacity exceeds the actual weight of the objects.

Can magnetic grippers be used on all materials?

No. They only work on magnetic materials such as steel, iron and cast iron, and are not suitable for non-magnetic materials like aluminium, copper or certain grades of stainless steel. They perform best on flat surfaces thick enough for the magnetic field to penetrate, and on round surfaces with a sufficiently large radius.
