This glass gripper lifts and handles both convex and concave glass panes weighing up to 25 kg. It is easy to operate and can be used by anyone, regardless of strength or experience. A pane that used to need two people can now be handled by one.

It is used in the automotive industry, and is equally suited to construction, glass factories and glassworks.

Focus on ergonomics

Its ergonomic, flexible design makes it an excellent tool for windscreen replacement, as well as for lifting windows and other glass panels. The gripper holds the object in a virtually weightless state, so the operator controls the glass with the same precision as by hand – without carrying the weight. The pane can also be tilted up or down through 90 degrees, and the comfortable handle offers two grip surfaces for precise, comfortable lifting.

Safe lifting with vacuum

The gripper uses vacuum cups. Vacuum is ideal for fragile surfaces such as glass because the material is drawn onto the cup rather than clamped, eliminating the risk of scratches. It also means the tool can grip glass of different widths, lengths and heights.

A pneumatic cylinder powers the tool. Vacuum builds up in the cups and holds the pane; the operator then lifts it effortlessly, tilts it and fits or places it where required. Lifting speed can be adjusted to the task. The lift is fast and smooth, and the glass stays intact, free of scratches or marks from sharp edges.
