How does the Manhattan car door lift work?

The gripper holds the door with vacuum cups, so it feels weightless during the lift and moves easily on and off the racks. The cups attach securely to the outer skin of the door; the operator uses the buttons to maneuver and lift, the unit balances the door out of the rack, and the operator guides it to the cart. A tilt function allows the door to be angled slightly, and rotatable cups make it possible to lift both left- and right-hand doors. One person is all it takes.
