Articulating Jib Crane, Air Hoist and Cylinder

Loads must both travel along a long fixed line and turn at each stopping point. A mechanism that only lifts up and down is not enough, and turning loads by hand is slow and unsafe.

FullSharp mounts an articulating jib crane on an overhead rail so the whole assembly travels along the line. On the arm, a horizontal pneumatic hoist works with a pneumatic lifting cylinder, allowing lifting, lowering, and turning right at the work point without any electrical power.

Equipment installed

Rotating joint: changes the arm's direction quickly, allowing work at many angles around the mounting point.
Horizontal pneumatic hoist: mounted flat on the arm, balances the load with air, running smoothly with few wearing parts.
Pneumatic lifting cylinder: adjusts height over a fixed stroke, limiting shaking when stopped.
Overhead rail system: the travel path along the line, holding the whole assembly firmly on the ceiling structure.
