ANVER VT vacuum lifting systems are ergonomic lift assist devices that raise productivity while providing an economical solution for your material handling needs. They are easy to use, simple to maintain and require minimal operator training.
These vacuum tube lifting systems grip (by vacuum), hold, lift and lower loads without an electric hoist — all from a single control handle. Vacuum pads let you lift products without scratching surfaces or damaging edges, problems common with manual lifting or mechanical clamps.
A remotely mounted, high-efficiency vacuum pump supplies suction to the lifting tube to raise and lower the load. A Power Loss Safety Check Valve built into the 360° top swivel slowly lowers the load if power to the vacuum pump is interrupted.
Standard VT
- A wide range of sizes for many different applications.
- Handle can be operated with one or two hands.
- Vacuum gauge monitors the suction level.
- Many attachments available to suit your needs.
Pistol Grip VT
- Compact size for tight spaces, ideal for pick-and-pack.
- Pistol-style grip for more precise positioning.
- One-handed operation, for left- or right-handed users.
- 360° pad rotation for easy load positioning.
- 90° tilt allows gripping from the top or side of the load.
All ANVER VT vacuum tube lift systems work on the same basic principle: a remotely mounted vacuum pump creates vacuum in the lifting tube and control head. When the control head and pad are placed on the load, the pad seals to it and vacuum in the tube builds, causing the tube to contract and lift the load.
When the operator reduces the vacuum with the control handle, the tube extends and lowers the load. It is a simple, reliable method that lets one worker handle almost any type of load.
ANVER VT Series vacuum tube lifting systems are ergonomic lift assist devices designed for high-volume production. Rated for continuous duty, they can perform multiple lifts per minute.
ANVER offers tube lifters in many sizes and styles. Choosing the right system will increase productivity and ensure a safer workplace. Contact ANVER for a free evaluation and a recommended configuration for your material handling requirements.
We recommend giving ANVER the opportunity to test your load to determine the actual system capability and capacity. ANVER offers free testing in its ergonomics lab to determine the porosity of your load and help select the right vacuum lifting system.
Lifting capability and capacity depend on many factors, including:
- Weight and material composition of the load (porous, non-porous or semi-porous).
- Total surface area available for lifting.
- Type of load (loosely or tightly packed, thin or thick walled, compact or bulky).
- System vacuum station (high or low vacuum & flow).
- Vacuum level achieved.
- Size and style of vacuum pad used.
- Vacuum safety factor (tube area to pad area ratio).

- The standard control is operated by gently squeezing a small spring-loaded bar inside the handle. The up-down movement controls the contraction and extension of the main tube.
- The spring-loaded ergonomic lever handle requires the operator to keep a hand on the lever at all times during operation.
- The design allows trained operators to work quickly, gripping and releasing loads efficiently.
- Includes adjustable 'Load' and 'No-Load' valves on the control box for precise positioning of loads of a specific weight.
All ANVER VT vacuum tube lifters can be fitted with a release assist valve: model VT-RAV-M-CV for Mini sizes and VT-RAV-S-CV for Standard sizes. The VT-RAV-M/S-CV helps release any load and is especially useful for loads that need a strong force to break the vacuum seal on release. It is recommended for multi-pad vacuum tube lifters with long handles and swivels.
Operating Principle:
Loads are gripped and lifted the same way as with a standard VT lifter. To release: once the load is in position, fully depress the control lever and tilt the head up to break the vacuum seal. If the seal cannot be broken this way, pull and hold the RED knob while holding the control lever down. Once the seal breaks and the load is released, let go of the lever and red knob and the lifter rises on its own. When the lifter is clear of the load, return it to working height.
Model VT-RLV-M (Mini) or VT-RLV-S (Standard), used with a VT vacuum tube lifter equipped with ANVER's CA Compressed Air Assist option, releases the load and lifts the head off it even when the lifting tube is almost fully contracted. Useful for stacking loads above head height with long handles.
Operating Principle:
The VT lifter grips and lifts loads the same way as a lifter without this option. However, a standard tube lifter requires tilting the pad to break the vacuum seal and release the load. With a long handle and a nearly fully contracted tube (common in high stacking), this is very difficult to do.
The pneumatic release & lift assist valve option simplifies this step and eliminates the need to tilt the pad to break the seal. By turning and holding the RLV attach/release knob, the vacuum seal on the pad is broken, the load is released, the tube contracts and the lifter rises off the load. Once the lifter is clear, releasing the switch lets it return to normal working height.

ANVER VT vacuum tube lifters can be equipped with an internal compressed air line to provide auxiliary power to the tube lifter control head. When connected to a clean, dry compressed air supply (max 90 psi), the air outlet at the control head provides pneumatic power that can assist load handling by powering vacuum head attachments such as venturi vacuum generators, pneumatic rotators and tilters, or by actuating valves that shut off vacuum to the pads and assist release in high stacking applications. The air line is coiled inside and swivels with the top swivel of the tube lifter, allowing full, unobstructed 360° rotation of the lifting tube.
The CA Compressed Air Assist option, available for every VT vacuum tube lifter, must be built into the assembly at the time of order and is not available as a retrofit kit. Custom and standard vacuum attachments are available from our extensive range for boxes & cartons, bags & sacks, sheets, coils and rolls. Contact the factory or your ANVER dealer for more information.

▸ Vacuum Tube Lifter Features
Ergonomic Control Handle
The ergonomically designed control handle has become an operator favorite. It is activated simply by squeezing the lever with the thumb and fingers in a natural gripping motion. The operator's hand and fingers stay unrestricted throughout the operation, with no awkward movements or muscle strain. Repetitive strain injuries, often caused by unnatural wrist twisting and the locked-finger push-pull motion of competing controls, are eliminated.
Easily Adjustable Load & Height Settings
The operator controls system vacuum with two knob-adjusted valves on the control head. The NO-LOAD valve sets the hover height of the tube lifter for gripping the load. The LOAD valve sets the height the load is raised to after gripping. Once set, the system consistently returns to these heights throughout the operation, allowing precise positioning of loads of a specific weight.
System Vacuum Gauge
Only ANVER VT tube lift systems are equipped with a vacuum gauge on the control head that shows the operator the system vacuum level directly during lifting. This innovation helps make the ANVER VT tube lift system the safest system in the industry.
Conical Flow Valve
The redesigned conical flow valve gives the operator precise control of vacuum power, for a smoother, more user-friendly control experience than competing units. This exclusive ANVER design feature allows the VT tube lift system to handle a wider range of loads than any competing brand.
Power-Loss Safety Check Valve
The power-loss safety check valve built into the 360° top swivel will slowly lower the load if power to the vacuum pump is interrupted.
FDA Compliant — Safe for Food Processing
Exterior surfaces combine stainless steel, anodized aluminum and nylon components, all FDA compliant for washdown and food industry applications. The control head is made of electro-polished heavy-gauge stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
Easy Field Upgrades
Using available adapters, existing ANVER vacuum tube lifting systems can be upgraded to larger sizes in the field.
360° Rotation
The top swivel is made of stainless steel with fully vacuum-sealed bearings, allowing full 360° rotation.
Highest Quality — Reasonable Price
Component for component, ANVER delivers the highest quality vacuum tube lifting system, the key to our continued success. We welcome a direct comparison with any competing system. The VT system's micro-polished heavy-gauge stainless steel construction, combined with the best control valves, pumps, pads, tubes and filters available and a reasonable price, has quickly made ANVER the industry standard.
