Pneumatic Manipulator for Treadmill Frames

A treadmill frame is both heavy and long, needing two or three workers to lift it onto the assembly bench each time. After fastening the screws, the frame has to be flipped again - a step that easily scratches the paint and strains workers' backs.

FullSharp installs a pneumatic manipulator with a fixture that cradles the frame. Compressed air balances the weight so the frame feels almost weightless, letting one person hold and rotate it to the required angle before setting it down gently.

Equipment Installed

Pneumatic manipulator arm: balances the frame's weight, so the operator only needs a light touch to guide it.
Frame fixture: shaped to match the treadmill frame, gripping firmly without pressing on the painted surface.
Rotating end joint: flips and rotates the frame to the angle needed for fastening without setting it down.
Valve control cluster: lift/lower buttons on the handle, releasing them holds the frame steady.
