Large flat sheets are heavy and slippery, and even two or three people carrying one can still bump the edges. A single scratch on glass or metal surfaces can send the piece to reject. Clamping by hand often leaves marks at the edges.

FullSharp installs a pneumatic jib crane fitted with a vacuum lifting pad built specifically for flat sheets. Place the pad on the sheet, open the valve and it grips, lift it up, then swing the arm to move the sheet to the next machine. The compressed air carries the lifting force while the operator only guides the direction.

Equipment installed

  • Load-bearing rotating column: swings the arm through multiple angles, moving the sheet from the storage rack to the machine table.
  • Pneumatic lifting assembly: lifts and lowers smoothly, holding the sheet suspended so the operator can position it before setting it down.
  • Vacuum lifting pad for sheets: multiple suction cups spread across the frame, gripping glass, metal, or wood surfaces.
  • Control handle: mounted right next to the pad, letting one person hold and control the lift at the same time.

No surface scratches

Rubber suction cups press against the surface instead of clamping the edges, keeping the sheet's quality intact.

Single-operator use

Compressed air carries the load, leaving the operator to simply push and guide the direction.

Lower collision risk

The sheet stays gripped firmly throughout the move, cutting the chance of dropping or breaking it during manual handling.
