The steel fabrication area is cramped, with the floor already packed with machines and stock, leaving no room for a jib crane's floor-standing column. Steel sheets are also heavy, and carrying them by hand risks slipping and damaging the edges.

FullSharp installs an overhead pneumatic jib crane mounted to the existing wall or column structure, leaving the floor completely clear. The working end is a vacuum lifting pad that suctions straight onto the steel sheet's surface, and the arm then swings it over to the processing position.

Equipment Installed

  • Wall or column mounting bracket: bolted to an existing load-bearing structure, taking up no floor space.
  • Swing arm: covers a wide arc, enough to move a sheet from the storage rack to the machine table.
  • Vacuum lifting pad: suction cups arranged to match the steel sheet size, keeping it balanced and level.
  • Pneumatic hoist: smooth lifting and lowering, slowing down near the set-down point so the sheet doesn't land hard.
