Pneumatic Jib Crane and 150 kg Vacuum Lifter for CNC Sheet Loading

A laser cutting shop loads steel sheets onto its CNC cutting table all shift long. Sheets weigh up to 150 kg; carrying them by hand is slow and scratches them, electric lifters drag a cable and battery lifters need charging mid-shift. The customer wanted a fast, compact solution that runs continuously.

FullSharp installed a pneumatic jib crane next to the cutter with a 150 kg pneumatic vacuum lifter. The whole system runs on plant compressed air: no power cable and no battery charging, with very fast lifting and lowering – ideal for high-speed production.

Installed equipment

Pneumatic jib crane: floor-bolted steel column, smooth-slewing aluminium profile arm rated 200 kg, reach covering the sheet area and cutting table.
150 kg pneumatic vacuum lifter: aluminium frame with adjustable spring-loaded pads for different sheet sizes, handle with lift, lower, grip and release buttons and a vacuum gauge.
Compressed air supply: from the existing plant air line via a coiled hose along the arm, with no electric cable in the work area.
