Natural stone, engineered stone and quartz slabs are typically large, slippery and weigh anywhere from several tens to several hundred kilograms. Carrying them by hand takes several workers, risks slipping and chipped edges, and is a common cause of back injuries in stone workshops and on construction sites.

FullSharp supplies stone slab lifting equipment that combines vacuum lifting with manipulators or electric lifters. A single operator can lift, rotate, move and place a slab exactly where it needs to be processed or installed, without physical effort.

FullSharp equipment for lifting stone slabs

  • Pneumatic manipulators with vacuum lifting pads: lift stone slabs from 50 to 300kg and hold them in a weightless state so the operator only needs a light push. Suitable for saws, polishers and work tables. See pneumatic manipulators.
  • Vacuum tube lifters with long handles: pick up and lower stone slabs quickly with one-handed operation, suspended from an overhead rail or jib crane. See FullSharp vacuum tube lifters.
  • Electric lifters with stone slab clamps: move slabs from the warehouse to the processing area or onto trucks, with no rail required. See smart electric lifters.
  • Vacuum lifters: the number and size of suction pads are selected to match the slab size, with mechanical, electric and battery-powered models for job sites. See vacuum lifters.

Benefits of stone slab lifting equipment

Safe for workers and stone

Slabs are held firmly by vacuum pads, with no slipping and no knocked edges. Operators do not have to bend over or strain.

One operator instead of three

One person can handle a full-size slab, freeing labor for other tasks and cutting waiting time.

Precise placement

Slabs are placed onto the saw table, polishing table or installation position at the right angle and location, reducing miscuts and rework.

Frequently asked questions

Can vacuum lifters handle textured or porous stone?

Yes, for most polished natural stone. For porous stone or deeply textured surfaces, FullSharp uses thick-seal suction pads or switches to a mechanical clamping tool. We recommend sending a sample for a suction test before choosing equipment.

How heavy a slab can be lifted?

Pneumatic manipulators lift up to 300kg, and vacuum lifters up to 1000kg depending on the number of suction pads. Electric lifters with stone slab clamps handle 200 to 500kg.

What about job sites without compressed air?

Battery-powered vacuum lifters are available. They hang from a mobile crane or tower crane for installing stone facades and cladding.

Stone slab lifting solutions

Every plant differs in load capacity, workpiece dimensions, lifting frequency and working space. FullSharp carries out a site survey, recommends suitable equipment, load tests it before handover and provides operator training. The equipment is manufactured at the FullSharp factory in Taiwan, with spare parts and warranty service available in Vietnam.
