Contactor gripper 89-10325 – an ergonomic lifting tool

The contactor gripper is purpose-built to lift electrically controlled switches weighing up to 65 kg. A contactor that would normally take two people to lift can now be handled by one.

The gripper is compact and fairly simple to use, yet carefully engineered to grip and hold a very slim area. In this application, contactors are picked from a high conveyor and placed in boxes on the floor. Because of the height difference, the gripper has two control panels and two sets of handles, giving ergonomic support at every level, adding flexibility and making the tool very user-friendly.
