Pneumatic Jib Crane with Pipe Clamp System

Steel pipes are round, smooth, and heavy, so sling tying takes a lot of time — and even then, a loose sling can let the pipe spin loose while lifting. In fabrication shops handling dozens of pipes per shift, tying and untying slings eats up most of the working time.

FullSharp installs a pneumatic jib crane with a clamping system dedicated to steel pipes. The clamp jaws wrap around the pipe diameter, gripping and releasing with compressed air, eliminating sling tying entirely, while the rotating arm moves the pipe from the storage rack to the machine or welding table.

Installed Equipment

Pipe clamping system: clamp jaws wrap around the pipe diameter, gripping tight with compressed air and releasing quickly when set down.
Pneumatic rotating arm: swings around the column to connect the pipe storage rack with the work area, instead of dragging pipes across the floor.
Pneumatic lifting unit: holds the pipe suspended at the working height, staying in place even when released.
Control handle: clamp, release, lift, and lower buttons all within the operator's finger reach.
