When metal sheets are stacked, picking up the top one means reaching a hand under its edge - slow and easy to cut yourself. Carrying it with several people causes the sheet to shake and rub against others, scratching the surface.

FullSharp installs a pneumatic jib crane with a vacuum lifting pad. The suction frame sets onto the top sheet, grips firmly and lifts it straight up without touching the sheet's edge. The swing arm then carries it to the machine table, and the whole task needs only one person.

Equipment Installed

  • Vacuum lifting pad: suction cups spread evenly across the sheet, limiting sag when it's lifted.
  • Pneumatic jib crane: the arm swings around the column, covering the area between the sheet stack and the machine table.
  • Pneumatic vacuum generator: draws air from the existing supply, with no extra control panel needed.
  • Holding valve and vacuum gauge: monitors vacuum level and seals the suction chamber if pressure drops suddenly.
