Description
VC SERIES VACUUM CUPS – CENTRE SUSPENSION & VACUUM PORT
VC25, VC35, VC40 and VC45 – horizontal capacity 15 to 55 lb, nitrile or high heat silicone
Product Overview
VC Series cups
Production quality construction and a universal design make the ANVER VC Series suitable for most applications. Thick rubber bonded to a machined aluminium base makes these cups rugged and long lasting.
VC cups are well suited to the high duty cycles found in the automotive industry and in press feeding operations.
The centre suspension and vacuum port arrangement lets the cup mount directly to a suspension assembly, which is available in a range of styles and sizes. Metric (–G) and high heat silicone (–SI) versions are available across the range.
Design Features
01 – Rugged construction
A deep threaded mounting hole, made for heavy production use.
02 – Long low-angle lip
Needs little pressure to make initial contact, and takes up inaccuracies in cup height.
03 – Two inside sealing edges
Make contact once vacuum is attained and become the main sealing edges, for safety.
04 – Strengthened outside lip
Gives a fast, even release of the load.
05 – Bonded rubber and hub
Durable soft rubber bonded to a stiff aluminium hub, giving an excellent non-skid grip.
06 – Cleated bottom
Makes the cup suitable for both horizontal and vertical loads.
Suspension assemblies are available in a variety of styles and sizes – the SLSA3 series. Some part numbers mount directly; others need an adapter fitting. Contact FULL-SHARP for the right combination.
Applications
Sheet to thick block
Light gauge sheet and other thin materials, through to thick blocks.
Slightly textured surfaces
Fibreglass panels, plastic, automotive panels and auto glass.
Wavy or contoured surfaces
The flexible lip follows a curved or uneven face.
Porous materials
Materials that leak slightly under vacuum.

*Capacity basis – the figures above are based on 24″ Hg at sea level with a safety factor of two (2) horizontal (flat) and four (4) vertical (upright). Vertical load capacity is half the listed horizontal capacity. Rated capacities are estimates; actual capacity varies with the load surface and the vacuum level achieved.
Materials – the standard materials are blue nitrile and red silicone. The –SI versions use extreme high heat silicone.
Contact FULL-SHARP with the part size, weight and surface finish and we will confirm the cup, the thread type (NPT or metric G) and the suspension assembly.
