The Knight Global Safety Drop Stop “SDS” pneumatic balancer is the safest balancer in the world, because it stops the load from dropping if the load chain fails. The “SDS” design gives complete protection against operator injury.
Pneumatic balancers are used where the application calls for a float mode – letting the operator make the final placement of the load hands-free. Raising and lowering is faster than a conventional hoist, and the load can be “feathered” into position. The ergonomic control handle uses a colour-coded thumb lever.
Knight balancer chain is a special grade 80 chain with a proprietary surface treatment that extends chain life by up to 300% compared with standard grade 80 chain.
