The Knight Global ATA4000 overhead mounted vertical mast arm places the control handle in a fixed position on the mast, improving ergonomics considerably by removing the need for the operator to bend or reach.
It is typically used in applications that call for long vertical travel and precise positioning. The arm can be configured to rotate 360° or fixed without rotation, depending on what the operator needs.
The ATA4000 comes with two mast options: a round mast for loads applied directly on the axis, and a square THK mast for offset cantilevered loads that generate torque.
The ATA4000 works with any Knight pneumatic balancer or chain hoist, and can be fitted with an optional ball bearing clutch brake and friction parking brake. Maximum lifting capacity is 500 lbs [226 kg] and maximum torque is 853 ft-lbs [1,156 Nm]. Maximum vertical travel varies with the application.
