The Knight Global AAA4000 light duty articulating pneumatic arm is a parallelogram arm built to lift, rotate, balance and move product from conveyors, dunnage, assembly lines and many other applications.
The AAA4000 uses a single rear-mounted cylinder to achieve a higher lifting capacity, reducing operator fatigue by absorbing torque reaction and making the product easy to lift and manipulate.
The overhead version travels inside RAD4110, RAD6110 or RAD7510 aluminium rail on the “X”, “Y” and “Z” axes, with a wide choice of control configurations. The linear mounted arm runs on the LRD9500 rail system.
FULLSHARP supplies the AAA4000 in all three mounting styles: overhead, floor-mounted pedestal and linear rail. Maximum balancing capacity is 80 lbs [36 kg] with a 24 in arm and 65 lbs [29 kg] with a 36 in arm, at a minimum supply pressure of 60 psi. Capacity varies with reach.
Overhead Mounted
The arm hangs from a Knight aluminium rail system and travels on the “X”, “Y” and “Z” axes. Suits work areas where the arm has to cover a long run of the production line.
Pedestal Mounted
The arm sits on a floor-mounted column up to 6 ft [1,828 mm] high, removing the need for an overhead rail system entirely. Suits a single fixed workstation.
Linear Mounted
The arm runs on an LRD9500 linear rail, giving controlled travel along one axis. Typically used for nutrunner and tool assist work along a fixed line.
Mast & Reach
Mast height to 9 ft [2,743 mm], arm length to 36 in [914 mm], with an optional extension boom of a further 36 in [914 mm]. Vertical stroke up to 36 in [914 mm].
