Description
REGENERATIVE VACUUM PUMPS & STATIONS
Direct-drive blowers to 350 SCFM and 18 in. Hg – quiet, vibration-free, explosion-proof options
Product Overview
These are high efficiency regenerative vacuum pumps built specifically for ANVER and used throughout its vacuum lifting systems. They give a compact, reliable source of quiet, vibration-free vacuum, are made from tough high-strength materials, and are lightweight and virtually maintenance free – the design supersedes the older conventional side-channel blower.
Capacities run to 350 SCFM of flow and 18 in. Hg of vacuum. The motors are more energy efficient and need less horsepower than competing models for the same duty.
Vacuum pumps are supplied as the bare pump. Vacuum stations (the -S suffix) add a muffler and connection fittings; the VB41HF-FR-S also carries an internal filter and relief valve.
Two families, two jobs – HF (high flow) pumps move a large volume of air at moderate vacuum and are the choice for porous and semi-porous loads. HV (high vacuum) pumps pull to 18 in. Hg at lower flow and suit heavy, non-porous to semi-porous loads. Reading the model number: VB + size + HF or HV, then -S for a complete station.
High Flow or High Vacuum?
HF – high flow
- Air flow to 350 SCFM
- Maximum vacuum 12 in. Hg [406 mbar]
- The natural choice for porous and semi-porous loads that leak continuously
- Models VB4HF, VB8HF and the filtered VB41HF-FR
Performance tolerance is ±10%. Curves are based on a 60 Hz supply, inlet air at 60°F [15°C] and 29.92 in. Hg absolute [1013 mbar] barometric pressure at the discharge.

Observe the recommended working vacuum level. These settings exist to keep enough free air flowing through the pump to avoid internal heat build-up. Running above them causes thermal expansion of the impeller and chamber, leading to interference and friction – and then to premature wear, internal damage or seizure. A vacuum relief valve kit is the way to enforce the limit, and is recommended on every installation.
Supply Voltages Available
| Standard motor wiring | ||
|---|---|---|
| Voltage | Phase | Cycle |
| Dual voltage 230/460 or 220/440 V; single voltage 575 V | 3 phase | 60 Hz |
| Single voltage 208 / 380 V | 3 phase | 50 Hz |
On a 50 Hz supply, capacity falls by one sixth (16.7%). A pump rated 350 SCFM at 60 Hz delivers roughly 292 SCFM at 50 Hz; 220 SCFM becomes about 183 SCFM. Size the pump on the 50 Hz figure for any installation in Vietnam or elsewhere on 380 V / 3 Ph / 50 Hz mains.
Non-standard configurations, washdown versions with stainless fittings (WAS) and other special orders are available – contact FULL-SHARP.
Explosion-Proof Motors for Harsh Environments
Every model is available with an explosion-proof motor. The suffix carries the classification: -X11D for Class 1 / Division 1 / Group D, -X11CD for Class 1 / Division 1 / Groups C & D, and -X21FG for Class 2 / Division 1 / Groups F & G. Vacuum stations include a large muffler and connection fittings.

Sound Deadening Enclosures
These pumps already meet OSHA noise guidelines, but where low noise is wanted as a premium, a sound deadening enclosure cuts a further 5 to 7 dB on pumps running in the 68 to 76 dB range.
Construction is durable melt-resistant industrial plastic on a steel plate base, fully lined with sound deadening foam.
Order the enclosure with the station, not after. Enclosures need special plumbing – the intake and exhaust pipes must be lengthened to port correctly. Bought separately, extra pipe fittings have to be added.

Exhaust Mufflers
Heavy-duty exhaust mufflers with cast aluminium top and bottom covers and a perforated metal housing for heat resistance; tie rods and nuts are zinc-plated steel.
At an in-line pressure of 90 psi they cut noise by 17 to 22 decibels with little loss of operating efficiency. Supplied with NPT male connections.
Maximum pressure 125 psi. Maximum temperature 300°F [149°C].
Parts for Automation
Vacuum or pressure relief valves are recommended on every installation. Washdown (WAS) versions with stainless steel fittings and further explosion-proof configurations are available on request.
