The Knight KSHVAR (overhead carriage mounted) and KSHVAAR (floor mounted) are Intelligent Assist Devices (IAD) that let the operator reach beyond the area directly under the rail system and position a load precisely along the “Z” axis (vertical) with high speed and reliability. The arm allows non-linear overhead movement within a flexible reach envelope at each work station.
Knight’s servo hoist technology becomes an extension of the operator’s natural motion, improving accuracy, responsiveness and repeatability – and with them overall safety, throughput and quality. The main benefits: wasted motion is eliminated, reaction time is shortened, and inertia effects with heavy loads are reduced.
