Description

VACUUM TUBE LIFTING SYSTEMS

Nine tube sizes, VT90 to VT250 – lifting up to 390 lbs [177 kg] through a single control handle

Product Overview

ANVER VT vacuum tube lifting system

ANVER VT vacuum tube lifter

ANVER VT Series vacuum tube lifters grip, support, raise and lower a load through a single handle – no powered hoist, no scratched surfaces, no crushed edges. They are ergonomic lift assists that raise productivity while staying simple to maintain and quick to learn.

A remotely mounted, high-efficiency vacuum pump draws vacuum through the lifting tube. As the pads seal against the load, the tube contracts and the load rises; bleed the vacuum at the handle and the tube extends to set it down.

Vacuum pads let the operator lift without the surface scratches and crushed edges common to manual handling or mechanical clamps.

Power-loss safety check valve – built into the 360° top swivel, it lowers the load slowly if power to the vacuum pump is interrupted.

Continuous duty – designed for high-volume production, with many lifts per minute.

Free load testing – ANVER tests load porosity in its ergonomic laboratory to confirm the right system before you order.

Standard VT

  • A wide choice of sizes for different applications.
  • Handle can be worked one-handed or two-handed.
  • Vacuum gauge monitors the vacuum level.
  • Extensive accessory range available.

Pistol Grip VT

  • Small footprint for tight spaces, ideal for pick-and-pack.
  • Pistol grip gives more precise positioning.
  • One-handed operation, left or right handed.
  • 360° pad rotation for easy load positioning.
  • 90° tilt to pick from the top or the side of a load.

Choosing the Right Lifter

ANVER VT tube sizes

Tube sizes VT90 – VT250

Every ANVER VT system works on the same principle, so selection comes down to matching tube size, pump and pad area to the load. Choosing correctly raises productivity and makes the workplace safer.

ANVER recommends a load test before final selection. Capacity depends on more than weight alone – a porous carton and a sealed steel sheet of the same mass behave very differently.

Capacity depends on seven factors

  1. Weight and material of the load – porous, non-porous or semi-porous.
  2. Total surface area available for lifting.
  3. Load type – loosely or tightly packed, thin or thick walled, compact or bulky.
  4. Vacuum station type – high or low vacuum, and flow rate.
  5. Vacuum level actually achieved.
  6. Size and style of the vacuum pads used.
  7. Vacuum safety factor – the ratio of tube cross-section to pad area.

Controls & Valve Options

Option Description
Standard VT controlsStandard controls Operated by squeezing a small spring-loaded bar inside the handle; up and down movement controls contraction and extension of the tube. Adjustable Load and No-Load valves on the control head allow precise positioning for a given load weight. The operator keeps a hand on the lever throughout.
RAV release assist valveVT-RAV-M/S-CV
Release Assist Valve
Helps release any load, particularly where a lot of force is needed to break the vacuum seal. Press the lever fully and tilt the head up to break the seal; if that is not enough, pull and hold the red knob while keeping the lever down. Recommended for multi-pad lifters with a long handle and swivel.
RLV release and lift assist valveVT-RLV-M/S
Release & Lift Assist Valve
Used with the CA compressed air assist option, it releases the load and raises the head clear even when the tube is almost fully contracted – the situation in overhead stacking with a long handle. Turning and holding the RLV knob breaks the seal and lets the lifter rise on its own.
Compressed air assist diagramCA
Compressed Air Assist
An internal air line feeds a secondary power source to the control head. Connected to clean dry air at max 90 psi, it powers vacuum head attachments such as venturi generators, pneumatic rotators and tilters. The line swivels with the top swivel for unobstructed 360° rotation. Must be built in at time of order – not a retrofit kit.

Standard Features

VT TUBELIFTERFEATURES

01 Ergonomics

The control is activated by squeezing the lever with thumb and fingers in a natural gripping motion. The hand and fingers are never constrained, removing the repetitive strain injuries caused by unnatural wrist twisting on competing controls.

02 Load & Height

Two knob valves on the control head: NO-LOAD sets the resting height for picking up, LOAD sets the height the load is carried at. Once set, the system returns to those heights consistently throughout the shift.

03 Vacuum Gauge

Only ANVER VT systems fit a vacuum gauge on the control head, showing the operator the system vacuum level directly while lifting.

04 Conical Flow Valve

The redesigned conical flow valve gives precise control over vacuum capacity and a smoother feel, allowing the system to handle a wider range of loads.

05 Power Loss Safety

Integrated in the 360° top swivel, it lowers the load slowly if power to the vacuum pump is interrupted.

06 FDA Compliant

External surfaces combine stainless steel, anodised aluminium and nylon components, all FDA compliant for washdown and food industry use. The control head is electro-polished heavy-gauge stainless steel.

07 Field Upgradeable

Using available adapters, an existing ANVER vacuum tube lifting system can be upgraded to a larger tube size on site.

08 360° Rotation

The top swivel is stainless steel with fully vacuum-sealed bearings, allowing unrestricted 360° rotation.

09 Highest Quality

ANVER builds the VT range to its own quality standard, with stainless steel and anodised aluminium throughout and every unit tested before dispatch.
