Description
MITEY-AIRVAC AIR POWERED VACUUM STATIONS
Small, virtually maintenance-free stations with an internal check valve that holds vacuum if air is lost
Product Overview
The Mitey-AirVac is a complete air powered vacuum station in a subcompact package – low cost, lightweight, and requiring little or no maintenance.
What sets it apart from a bare generator is the internal vacuum check valve, which maintains vacuum if the incoming compressed air is lost. The unit holds vacuum per ASME Standard B30.20 for vacuum lifting devices on clean, smooth, non-porous materials, allowing the operator to put the load down safely.
Two series: the MTY-1 and the higher flow MTY-2, which comes in four flow rates for faster evacuation and suits non-porous to slightly porous materials.
*Safety note – this is the feature that separates the Mitey-AirVac from a plain venturi generator. On a bare pump the load releases the moment air pressure is lost; here the check valve holds the vacuum so the load can be set down. That is what makes it ASME B30.20 compliant on clean, smooth, non-porous material.
Features
01 – Internal check valve
Maintains vacuum if the incoming compressed air is lost – ASME B30.20 compliant on clean, smooth, non-porous loads.
02 – Subcompact and low cost
Lightweight, small, and requires little or no maintenance.
03 – Face-button release
The -FB models have a panel face mounted push-button switch for release and blow-off.
04 – Remote switch option
Non-FB models have control in and out ports for a remote mounted switch (MTY-SW, sold separately) that triggers blow-off for quick release.
05 – Vacuum gauge
Fitted for monitoring the manifold vacuum level.
06 – Symmetrical mounting
Mounting hole locations are symmetrical, so the unit can be mounted in several orientations. No moving parts, so no heat of any type.
Filtration – ANVER recommends that both the incoming compressed air line and the vacuum connection are each fitted with a filter, to prevent debris entering the generator.
MTY-1 Series Specifications
MTY-2 Series Specifications
Every station is rated 24 in. Hg at 72.5 psi; the model number selects the flow. The suffix is the only other choice: -FB for a push-button on the face of the unit, plain for control ports feeding a remote MTY-SW switch.
Accessories
MTY-SW remote switch
Remote mounted release and blow-off switch for the non-FB stations. Sold separately.
PC-T14 tubing
1/4″ polyurethane tubing for the control line between switch and station.
Inline barbed filter
Recommended on both the air line and the vacuum connection to keep debris out of the generator.
Contact FULL-SHARP with the load material, the cup area and whether the release should be at the unit or remote, and we will confirm the station and the switch.
