Bal-Trol® Single Mount Pro-Air unit
The Bal-Trol® Single Mount is a horizontally mounted pneumatic balancer that installs in the same space as a vertical air hoist. It hangs from a single trolley and can be fitted either in line with or across the rail, so it suits workstations where a conventional unit will not fit.
Built for repetitive lifting, the SM series is simple and intuitive to operate. There are no electronic components – nothing to fail from heat, humidity or a programming fault. Stroke is built to order, from 0.3 m to over 3 m.
Space Saving with a Single Suspension Point
Same stroke – 1,828 mm.
Same capacity – 100 kg.
Noticeably more compact, and only one trolley instead of two.
Design and Key Features
Horizontal Mounting
Installs in the footprint of a vertical hoist, releasing overhead space above the workstation.
Flexible Orientation
Mounts parallel to the rail or at right angles to it, usually without modifying existing rail or steelwork.
Single Trolley
One trolley carries the whole unit, cutting both hardware cost and installation time.
Fully Pneumatic
No electronics, no controller, no firmware – nothing to fail from heat, humidity or programming errors.

All figures are quoted at a supply pressure of 6 bar. Capacity varies with the air pressure actually available at the unit – contact FULL-SHARP if your plant air runs at a different pressure.
