Product Overview

ANVER SLSA-2 spring loaded vacuum cup suspension assemblies

ANVER vacuum suction cups can be mounted to most vacuum systems using spring loaded suspension assemblies. These are high quality, well finished assemblies designed for high speed automation applications.

Adjustable bulkhead fittings mount to almost any lifting frame, while a variety of tube fittings connect the assembly to the vacuum generating system. These mounting systems act as extensions while providing support when handling a load.

The SLSA-2 Series connects to a vacuum system via a G 1/8″ NPS male thread (which fits into 1/8″ NPT). For 5 mm or 10-32 UNF threads, use the SLSA-1 Series instead.

Custom adaptation – these suspensions can be adapted with tube fittings, mini vacuum generators, sensing valves and custom adapters. Contact FULL-SHARP for assistance.

All five take the same adjustable aluminium bracket plates and the same 0.63 in. (16 mm) panel hole. Only the A-3350069 differs on maximum panel thickness, at 1.06 in. (27 mm).

Extensions add reach without spring travel. Note the maximum panel thickness rises with height – the 3 in. version accepts a 2.5 in. thick plate.

Tube Fittings

Tube fittings are purchased separately to connect the spring loaded suspension assembly to the vacuum hose. They are available in barbed, push-in and compression connections, in straight, elbow and tee configurations, and accept tubes with standard inside and outside diameters. All SLSA-2 fittings use a 1/8″ NPT female connection thread.

Barbed and compression fittings are sized on tube inside diameter; push-in fittings on tube outside diameter. ANVER PC series polyurethane tubing is the recommended match.

Thread warning – a BSPP male thread will screw into a female NPT port with Teflon tape, but the joint may still leak and is not recommended. Use the correct thread form, or an adapter fitting from the table below.

All adapter fittings are electroless nickel plated brass.

Thread note – the “G” thread is also known as BSPP, and is commonly used worldwide for vacuum applications.

Other sizes – the SLSA-1 series is the next smaller suspension (M5 / 10-32 UNF female); the SLSA-3 series takes the 1/4″ NPT fittings.
