The SDS Speed Hoist is Knight’s newest powered hoist, carrying many of the same features as the D-Series Servo Hoist, including the patented “Safety Drop Stop” (SDS) dual-chain system. It uses a simple analogue handle with UP/DOWN buttons, so operators need very little training. The handle allows step-by-step movement and speed increase or decrease.
An Ethernet port on the handle connects to Knight Servo Studio for parameter setup: height limits, speed reduction zones and hoist speed control. A graphite lubrication stick inside the gearbox keeps the chain continuously lubricated. Capacity reaches 453 kg, with a top speed of 50 in./sec unloaded.
