Product Overview
The RB Series is an extended range of high flow regenerative vacuum pumps – a compact, quiet, reliable source of vacuum or compressed air. Eight models cover 60 to 780 SCFM, so the pump can be matched closely to the duty instead of being oversized.
They are oil and maintenance free, run as low as 80 dB, and use outboard bearings that keep the bearing out of the hot gas path – the pump runs cooler and the service life is longer in continuous duty.
For process work they are the direct alternative to a rotary vane pump or a PD / rotary lobe blower, with no oil to change and no oil carry-over downstream. The same pump serves vacuum or pressure duty, mounts in any axle orientation, and comes with thermal overload protection as standard.
Not for vacuum tube lifting systems. ANVER does not recommend the RB Series for vacuum tube lifters. Those need the VB Series regenerative vacuum stations, which are built specifically for that duty with the right controls and safety features. The RB Series is a process and automation pump.
Features
Oil-free by design
Environmentally friendly, with no downstream contamination of the gas or the components being handled. Nothing to drain, top up or dispose of.
Outboard bearings
Cooler running and virtually maintenance-free in continuous duty – the single biggest difference in service life against a conventional blower.
Quiet operation
As low as 80 dB, with a shock-absorbing mounting plate that reduces vibration transmitted between the blower and the process machinery.
Mounts in any orientation
Easily fitted in any axle orientation, which matters when the pump has to go inside an existing machine frame.
Vacuum or pressure
The same pump serves both vacuum and pressure applications – useful on machines that need blow-off as well as hold-down.
Protected motors
Thermal overload protection standard on all models, IP54 with Class F insulation, motors sized to match the duty for efficiency.
Manufactured under ISO 9001; UL Recognized, CE compliant, DIN VDE 0530. Compact and light enough to install without special handling on the smaller models.

Standard wiring is 230 / 460 volts. A vacuum relief valve is recommended on every installation, and a cord strain relief is available.
Choosing a Model
The range is not a simple ladder – two pairs give the same flow at very different vacuum levels. At 220 SCFM, the RB-210-08 reaches 5 in. Hg on 6.43 HP while the RB-175-11 reaches 13 in. Hg but needs 8.44 HP. At 780 SCFM, the RB-735-08 reaches 8 in. Hg on 19.44 HP against the RB-750-11 at 13 in. Hg on 30.82 HP – nearly 60% more power for 5 in. Hg more vacuum.
Work out the vacuum level the application actually needs before choosing on flow alone. Paying for the deeper-vacuum model when the process only needs 5 in. Hg means a much larger motor, a heavier machine and a bigger electricity bill for the life of the installation.
Flow sets the model when…
- The load or the process leaks continuously – porous material, perforated belts, open conveying
- The system has many small ports open at once
- Evacuation speed is what limits cycle time
Vacuum level sets the model when…
- The application is vacuum chucking or hold-down, where holding force per unit area is the requirement
- The system is well sealed and leakage is small
- The process needs a defined absolute pressure – thermoforming, for example

Carton erecting, labelling, sheet feeding and case packing.
Vacuum chucking
Holding sheet and panel work flat on a machining table or router bed.
Bagging and bottling
Bag opening, filling and closing; bottle handling and capping lines.
Thermoforming
Drawing heated sheet onto the mould, where both flow and vacuum level matter.
Pneumatic conveying
Moving powders, granules and light bulk material through pipework – a pressure duty as often as a vacuum one.
Also used in medical equipment, where the oil-free design and low noise are the deciding factors.
Before Ordering
The published figures are for 60 Hz. Wired at 50 Hz the specifications change – a regenerative blower turns more slowly, so both flow and vacuum fall. For any installation in Vietnam or elsewhere on 50 Hz mains, ask FULL-SHARP for the 50 Hz figures for the model in question rather than sizing from the table above.
- Supply voltage, phase and frequency at site – standard wiring is 230 / 460 V and the table is 60 Hz
- The flow the system leaks at working vacuum, not the flow of the pump you expect to buy
- The vacuum level the process needs – this is what separates the same-flow model pairs
- Whether the duty is vacuum, pressure, or both
- Mounting orientation and available space, and whether noise is a constraint
